Pflugerville FC Winter Program

The Pflugerville FC Winter Program training sessions are run by Director of Coaching, Rogerio Celaya and PFC professional coaching staff. There is a low coach-to-player ratio to ensure a positive experience for the players. Players are separated into small groups based on age and/or skill level. All programs are for players, boys & girls, born in 2020–2006.

Winter Program OVERVIEW

8 Weeks of training all in Pflugerville area
All players train 2x per week at Let’s Play Soccer, Round Rock between 5–9pm (Days and times to be announced later)
Weekend Futsal Matches held at Concordia High School
Professional PFC coaching staff
Begins week of December 2, 2024 and ends week of February 3, 2025 (with breaks for holidays)
Open to all Pflugerville FC, PAYSL Recreational, and external players
Jersey required at additional cost: $30 (Not required for current PFC players)

Our Winter program has already started but some spaces still remain. Prices have been adjusted so there’s still time to join us!

Full program: 2x weekly trainings + weekend futsal matches: $425 $400

Training only: 2x weekly trainings $300 FULL

High School Training only: 1x weekly trainings on Fridays $150 $130

Pfutsal League only*: Futsal matches on Saturdays $225 $200

*Select age groups only

TRAINING SCHEDULE

Space is limited, so it’s likely we cannot handle alternate schedule requests. All players will train indoors at Let’s Play Soccer, Round Rock. Please email us at winterprogram@pflugervillefc.org with questions.

REQUIRED UNIFORMS

All participants are required to wear the Pflugerville FC Winter League Puma Match Day Jersey to all trainings and games on the weekend. If you don't already own this, it can be purchased online from SoccerZoneUSA in the PFC Winter League Store for $35. You may also choose to purchase the navy shorts and socks, but these are optional. If you don't purchase the Puma shorts and socks, please have your player wear their Puma jersey with black or navy shorts and black or navy soccer socks. Principles of play

The Winter Program is a comprehensive 8-week training program for players looking to develop through the Winter. The program includes technical training and tactical game application focused on Pflugerville FC Principles of Play:

The coaches strive to improve the players’ dribbling, turns, passing, defending, and finishing with age-appropriate activities that allow players to enjoy learning new skills and gain satisfaction from refining their technique. In keeping with this philosophy of maximizing touches on the ball, any game play will be small-sided.
