Please help us in congratulating PFC’s Analia Hinojosa for recent awards she won at her high school! She is currently a player for PFC Select’s 05G Green team and has been with PAYSL/PFC for 10 years.
Analia, who just completed her freshman year at Gateway College Preparatory School, recently won the District 25-4A Offensive Player of the Year award and was also recognized for being selected and placed on the AAAA, Region 4, District 25, Women’s Soccer First Team for the 2020-2021 season. During the season, she led the district with scoring 23 goals and 16 assists in nineteen games of a 23 game season. She missed only four games due to an injury.
When asked how she felt after receiving those awards, “I was excited and embarrassed (having to walk up there to receive the awards and my dad wouldn’t stop recording); it was humbling (being a freshman varsity player) and I was grateful because I have worked really hard to be the best player and teammate I can be.”
Moving forward, Analia plans to attend Weiss High School as a sophomore next year. With her future bright, she looks forward to eventually playing for a D1 university and majoring in business. She hopes to one day play for the U.S. Women’s National Team.
Analia is a shining example of what a young player can accomplish when focusing on a goal and putting in the hard work and commitment to reach that goal. Congratulations, Analia! PFC is so proud of you!
