*The fall season will begin on September 26th for the entire league, but the information below is specifically for PFC Academy and Select families. Our Recreational soccer season has unfortunately been canceled.
We are very excited to announce that the start of the season is quickly approaching! With a new season comes a large number of questions, and we wanted to address those here. Please understand that Plugerville FC falls under 3 governing bodies: CAYSA, STYSA, and the City of Pflugerville/Travis County, and therefore many of our decisions are based on what they require and allow us to do. We appreciate you understanding that we are doing the best we can with what we have.
1. Uniforms
Uniforms will be delivered towards the beginning of September.
They will be used for the next 2 years, with a possible option of one more year.
Coaches will receive the uniforms for his or her team and pass them out to their players.
2. Return to Play
The reason we are unable to play right now is because the City of Pflugerville has restricted access to parks due to the current stage of Travis County. However, PFC leadership is working around the clock with the city to open the fields so we can quickly, but safely, return to play.
Both 1849 Park and Wells Point Park are closed for play.
Other clubs are playing either because they are outside of Travis County and/or they own the land they play on.
3. Registration
To prepare for our upcoming fall season, all players MUST be registered by CAYSA’s deadline of August 31st.
Many of you have already registered your players earlier this summer.
However, if your child has NOT been registered yet, you will need to use one of the links below. Make sure you choose the link that applies to your player’s team. If you are unsure of which one to use, contact your player’s coach or team manager.
4. Refund Policy
Our refund policy states that you will receive a 100% refund if the season is cancelled. If the season is cancelled after the start date, we will refund using a pro-rated scale based on the number of games or calendar weeks your child has played.
5. Season Play
The season begins on September 26th for Rec, Academy, and Select. Some teams may or may not play on that date; however that is the official start of the season.
Select teams will play more local games this fall, therefore requiring less travel time.
6. Parent Meetings
Parent meetings will be held prior to September 26th, which is the start of the season. Dates are still to be determined and will be announced at a later time.
