OUR PROGRAM & PHILOSOPHY

Pflugerville FC Select (also known as PFC) is focused on pure player development. Our staff, coaches, and board members strive to give our players the best chance to develop successful soccer skill sets to help carry them across their many different levels of play. Development leads to success and is the basis for all PFC training. Winning at PFC is a byproduct of player and coach development. Pflugerville FC offers CAYSA Division-2, WDDOA Alpha, Challenger, and Prime, and State Classic League select soccer programs for players ages 11U–19U. This program is designed to provide a skill development path. It provides age and skill-appropriate soccer development progression at all competitive select levels.

The Pflugerville FC philosophy is based on the premise that team sports help develop talents and skills that will make a positive contribution in the development of the whole person through sportsmanship, physical, and mental fitness.

Player Registration & PlayMetrics

To register for the PFC Academy program you must first attending our regular Player Placement Event in May, of one of our supplemental Observation sessions. Once your child has been observed, and if there is a roster spot available on a team that matches their skill level, you will be sent the invitation to register for the program and purchase a custom uniform kit.

Pflugerville FC is excited to announce that for all future programming, we will be using PlayMetrics to manage all club functions including program registrations, team schedules, club-wide communication, player IDPs, and more! In order to register for any programs or events, you will need to create an account. For help with this process, please use these quick start guides in English or Spanish.

DETAILS (2025/26 Season)

The program commitment and registration fees includes both the Fall and the Spring seasons. Teams will play in one of the many leagues we participate in depending on their level of play. Learn more about the leagues here.

Included in the Select Program Registration Fees

Teams will practice 2x-3x per week (depending on the level of the team)
Teams are coached by licensed coaches who have a minimum of a U.S. Soccer Grassroots Coaching License and must get the U.S. Soccer D License within one year. See coach bios here
Green and Blue teams (excluding high school age) will also train over the Winter off-season at an indoor facility and participate in a Winter indoor soccer league.
League fees for Fall and Spring (vary by league)
Teams will play in anywhere from 2-5 tournaments and/or showcases
All players will have an Individual Development Plan (IDP) which may include additional playing opportunities with other teams within the club
Coaches have access to Veo cameras to record and analyze games
Goalkeeper training program
Player insurance
College placement support (15U+)
Field rentals (indoor and outdoor) and maintenance
Coach travel

Additional Cost

Puma uniform kits.
Teams may participate in additional tournaments/showcases if the team and coach agree and wish to do so.
Individual travel costs including hotels, flights, rental cars, gas, and food etc. (varies by team)
Personal equipment (cleats, shin guards, water bottles, soccer ball, etc.)
Additional camps or clinics
