PAYSL Recreational Soccer Team Manager Resources
Volunteering to be a team manager for your child’s team can be a great way to help your coach, and the rest of the families! Duties for each team can vary depending on how much or how little help your head coach needs. It is important that the manager and the coach work together to create and organized, fun, and welcoming environment for all the families on the team.
Register to be a Manager | Manager Code of Conduct
Need help with registration? Follow along with our Registration Guide!
Typical Manager Responsibilities may include:
Working with the Coach to communicate all practice & game times to parents
Setting up a snack schedule and sharing it with parents (if the team wants one)
Scheduling a time for team pictures when the sign-up comes out, and communicating that time to parents
Being an additional sideline presence for the coach if they need it, or will be out of town for a game
Always being supportive of the coach and asking if there is anything else you can do to help
Division III: Assist the coach with any end of season tournament registration/communication (if applicable)
All managers are required to complete a background check, and take two trainings which can be done virtually on your own time. These two trainings are Safe Sport and Heads Up Concussion training. If you have any questions, reach out to your VP.
